How to Disable the Start & Stop System on the Renault Clio IV Without Dashboard Errors

Let's see how to disable the start & stop system on the Renault Clio IV without generating errors. Unscrew the six screws that secure the cover under the steering wheel: three screws on one side and three on the other, and move the cover to access from behind. Reach behind the plastic and look for a small connector attached to the metal frame (battery or ground). Lever to remove the connector without damaging the support. The connector has 2 pins. Prepare a wire that you will bridge between the two pins of the female connector (the one that was connected to the sensor); this way, the system thinks the sensor is always active. Ensure everything is well connected, reassemble the cover, and the start & stop system will be permanently disabled without warning lights, as the control unit still receives the correct signal.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?
