Before removing the airbag from the steering wheel, disconnect the battery terminals; insert the removal keys into the slots at the back of the steering wheel and unlock the airbag. Once the airbag is released, disconnect its power connectors and remove it from the steering wheel. Unscrew the large central bolt and remove the steering wheel from the column. For reassembly: insert the steering wheel onto the steering column and tighten the nut, then connect the airbag power connector and press it back onto the steering wheel (tighten the securing bolts).
