Oil and Fuel Filter Replacement on Renault Captur

After removing the four fixing bolts of the engine splash guard, use a square spanner size 8 to drain the engine oil. Once the used oil is collected, tighten the drain holes and unscrew the oil filter, lubricate the O-ring of the new filter and screw it in place. For the fuel filter, you will need to remove the front passenger side wheel and take off the splash guard, as the fuel filter is located behind it. To remove it, unclip the clips and unscrew the 7 mm screws. Now simply lift it to free it from its housing and detach the connections using a flat screwdriver.
