In this tutorial, see how to replace the glow plugs in a Renault Megane 3, a very simple operation. First, ensure the engine is completely cold, then open the bonnet and disconnect the negative terminal of the battery. Next, remove the intake manifold, disassemble the air filter box, and disconnect the glow plug connectors. At this point, grasp the first glow plug with a 10mm spanner, gently unscrew it, and extract it from the cylinder head. Finally, fit the replacement by following the reverse procedure and repeat the operation for the remaining glow plugs.
