How to Replace the Cylinder Head Gasket on a Renault 19 Energy

Start by disconnecting the vehicle's battery and draining the coolant and engine oil. Then, remove the timing belt cover and take off the timing belt. Next, disconnect all electrical connections, such as the spark plug cables, throttle cable, and starter cable. After that, remove the oil vapour recovery pipe, the exhaust manifold, and the valve cover to access the cylinder head. Once done, remove the old cylinder head gasket, clean the pistons and cylinder head thoroughly, and finally install a new gasket and reassemble everything in reverse order.
