How to replace the cabin filter in the Smart ForTwo?

Model: Smart Smart 451 - Years 2007-2015
Part: Cabin air filter

Replacing the cabin air filter in the Smart ForTwo 451 is a very simple and quick operation. As we can see in the second part of the video, the filter is positioned on the driver's side, right next to the accelerator pedal. To proceed with the replacement, go under the dashboard and release the two fixing clips of the rectangular door, open it and extract the old filter. We then insert the spare part taking care to respect the right direction, that is to say with the fins facing the front of the car. Finally, we reposition the door and make sure it is firmly in place.

Disconnect the bulb holders from the headlight and disconnect the relevant power connectors. Replace the damaged bulbs with new ones (same size and voltage). After replacing the bulbs, refit the bulb holder into the headlight housing. Finally, close the back of the headlights with the inspection caps.
