How to Start a Smart with a Flat Battery

If the battery is flat to the point that it does not allow the starter motor to turn over, even if the vehicle has an automatic gearbox, it is possible to push start it; therefore, turn on the ignition, press the brake pedal, shift the gear lever into drive mode and press the side button to activate manual mode, fully depress the accelerator pedal and keep the gear lever pushed forward as if you want to engage second gear; at this point, with the gear lever and accelerator pedal pressed, release the brake pedal and have someone push you to allow the engine to start.

How to disassemble the steering wheel of an Audi A3? Follow these steps for removal. Before removing the airbag from the steering wheel, disconnect the battery terminals; insert the removal keys into the slots at the back of the steering wheel and unlock the airbag. Once the airbag is released, disconnect its power connectors and remove it from the steering wheel. Unscrew the large central bolt and remove the steering wheel from the column. For reassembly: insert the steering wheel onto the steering column and tighten the nut, then connect the airbag power connector and press it back onto the steering wheel (tighten the securing bolts).
