How to Reset the Service Light on a Subaru Forester?

You can clear the Service light on a Subaru Forester by inserting the ignition key into the ignition switch and turning on the instrument panel: once it is on, navigate the menu using the buttons on the left side of the steering wheel. Press the SET button to select the "Maintenance" option: then select the "Engine oil" option and on the next screen change the date when the maintenance message will appear again. Returning to the initial screen, you can verify that the light has disappeared.
