Once you lift the hood and raise the vehicle, locate the oil drain plug on the side of the oil pan and proceed to unscrew it after placing a container on the ground to catch the used oil. Next, locate the oil filter and unscrew it with the appropriate wrench, replacing it with the new one after lubricating the gasket.

After all the used oil has drained out, close the drain plug and return to the engine to fill the system with new lubricant.
