How to Replace the Air Filter on a Toyota Rav 4

Let's see how to remove and replace the engine air filter on a Toyota Rav 4. To begin: open the car door, pull up the bonnet release lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the front bonnet, securing it with the prop. Remove the engine soundproofing panel, then disconnect the ventilation hose (unscrew the securing screws), uncover the filter box cap and extract the worn air filter (release the metal clips). Insert a new filter into the designated housing (ensuring it fits snugly around the edges). Finally, reassemble the air box cap and tighten the screws on the clamp above the hose. Close the front bonnet at the end of maintenance.
