Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement

Model: Toyota Celica T230 - Years 1999-2006

Open the front bonnet and ensure it is securely supported. Lift the vehicle and apply axle stands. Position an appropriate container (5 litres) under the oil sump and unscrew the drain plug located at the rear (also unscrew the filler cap to aid drainage); once drained, tighten the plug. Just in front of the oil sump is the filter: unscrew it using a socket wrench or a metal strap wrench. Then apply the new filter after coating the seal with oil (hand-tighten is sufficient).
At this point, fill the engine with new oil according to the SAE specifications and the quantities indicated in the user and maintenance manual.
