How to Replace the Radio in My Toyota Corolla

Model: Toyota Corolla MK 2 - Years 2000-2007

To replace the radio in your Toyota Corolla, you will not need any special tools, and it is a task you can easily perform in your garage. First, remove the cover under the radio where the air controls are (do this very gently using a plastic lever). Similarly, detach the trim around the stereo (where the air vents are located on the sides). Now, using a screwdriver, unscrew the securing screws on either side of the radio. Pull the radio out with your hands and disconnect the cables (power and antenna). Take the new radio, connect the electrical terminals, and fit it back into the dashboard. Once installed, turn it on and test its functionality.
