How to Change the Spark Plugs in a Toyota CH-R

Procedure for replacing the spark plugs in a Toyota CH-R Hybrid. Open the bonnet of the engine compartment, using a 10mm socket spanner, disconnect the negative terminal of the battery, and remove the electrical connectors from the coils above the spark plugs.

Using the same 10mm socket spanner, unscrew the bolt securing the coils, and mark the coils with a white marker to ensure they are reinstalled in the same order after removal. Before removing them, clean the surrounding areas to prevent dirt from entering the cylinders.

Once the coils are removed, use a 14mm socket spanner with an extension to unscrew and remove the old spark plugs, replace them with new ones, reassemble the coils in the correct order, tighten the bolts, and reconnect the connectors. Reconnect the negative terminal of the battery.
