Results of the EuroNcap test of Ligier JS50

In this video we see the result of the EuroNCAP test of the Ligier J50: in the frontal test the structure was severely deformed, and the door pillar and windshield were almost separated. The cockpit area was severely fractured after the test, and it was clear that the structure had reached its limit and would not be able to withstand a more severe impact. Chest compression readings indicated a high risk of serious or fatal injuries, and protection in this area of the body was classified as poor; there are no airbags available: although equipped with a three-point anchored seatbelt, it detached from the structure and the dummy became dislodged; the head hit against the steering wheel, which moved backwards during the test generating the possibility of fatal injuries; the seatbelt slipped very high on the abdomen and the driver's seat deflated, causing the dummy to slide under the waist of the seatbelt, an extremely dangerous phenomenon for the abdominal region.
