Removing the Door Panel on a Volkswagen Passat

Model: Volkswagen Passat B6, 3C - Years 2005-2010

Let’s remove the door panel on a Volkswagen Passat (driver's side). Before starting the disassembly, disconnect the battery terminals located in the engine bay. Use a lever or screwdriver to remove the window switch button located in the handle (disconnect the power terminal). Use a screwdriver to unscrew the screws in the handle, then remove the handle from the trim near the lever (remove the securing screws). Unscrew the remaining screws on the door panel and detach the securing clips. Finally, grasp the panel with your hands and lever it off the door. Reassemble everything in reverse order.
