How to replace the oil pressure switch of the Volkswagen Polo

Today we will explain how to replace the oil pressure switch on a Volkswagen Polo car produced from 2002 to 2009. To perform the replacement, we need to open the front hood and disconnect the air tube connector; after removing the connector, we can remove the engine cover, releasing the sides individually and then removing the entire cover. To remove the switch, we need to disconnect the connector and use a 24mm key to loosen the nut and then unscrew it by hand. Once the switch is removed, we need to replace it with the model required by the manufacturer, in the case of the Polo the model is 036919081D. We insert the new switch into its seat and screw the nut using a 24 mm key, connect the connector and mount the engine cover. Connect the air tube connector and close the front hood.
