Engine Cooling Radiator Replacement

Model: Volkswagen Golf Golf III, MK 3, Golf 3 - Years 1991-1997
Part: Radiator

Completely remove the front of the vehicle, including the bumper and both headlights. Remove the two side screws from the fan support and disconnect the electrical wiring connector to allow for their removal. Position a container under the radiator to collect the coolant. Unscrew the hose clamps on the water inlet to the radiator and remove it. Also disconnect all return hoses. Release the retaining springs at the bottom of the expansion tank and remove it from its housing. Install the new radiator, the expansion tank, and reconnect all hoses. Refit the fan. Top up with the appropriate coolant. Start the engine, open the air bleed valve until fluid flows out to eliminate any air bubbles, and check for any leaks.
