How to remove the door panel on a Volkswagen New Beetle? This guide explains how to proceed: before starting the disassembly, disconnect the battery terminals located in the front engine compartment. Using a lever or screwdriver, pry at the bottom of the handle on the door panel, then detach the piece as shown in the video and begin unscrewing the fastening screws of the door with a screwdriver. Use the plastic lever to unclip all the clips around the perimeter of the door. Finally, pull off the panel by hand, disconnecting the opening lever cable, the window lift connectors, and the speaker connectors.
