How to reset the service indicator of the VW Passat

The service light reset on a Volkswagen Passat vehicle should only be done after performing the steps related to the car service. To perform the reset on your own, you need to turn on the instrument panel and press the menu button located on the right side of the steering wheel. By holding down the button, you will access the service menu and select the "service intervals" option. Choose the "reset" option and update the mileage to the next car service; complete the service light reset by restarting the vehicle's instrument panel. If the reset is not successful, it will be necessary to go to an authorized workshop for a computerized diagnosis.
