The Climatronic, which has its controls in the center of the dashboard of the Volkswagen Passat, can be reset by turning on the instrument panel, so that it is possible to use the controls located on the central panel of the dashboard. Once the instrument panel is turned on, you will need to simultaneously press the ECON button and the one with the icon of the arrow pointing towards the passenger's face.

In this way, you will notice that the dual-zone climate temperature indicators will become dark; after waiting a few seconds, the indicators will return to the previously set temperature and the air conditioning will be reset.
