How do you reset the Service light on the Volkswagen Routan?

Model: Volkswagen Routan MK 1 - Years 2009-2014

To make the Service indicator disappear on the instrument panel of the Volkswagen Routan, you need to insert the ignition key into the ignition switch and turn it to start the engine: once the engine is started, you can press the accelerator pedal three times in a row until it reaches the end of its travel. Once this operation is completed, you can turn the key back to finish the process. Upon the next ignition, you can verify that the Service indicator has been successfully cleared from the vehicle's instrument panel.
