Let's see how to replace the ignition coil on a Volkswagen Polo 6N: it is a cylindrical component from which the spark plugs originate, located above the engine. Using a socket wrench, we remove the screw that secures the metal bracket and pull out the coil, taking it out of its housing.

We disconnect the electrical connector and clean it well with a specific spray for electrical connectors before installing the new coil. We may have purchased it on Amazon with the code B019H0IM08 for the price of €33.96, with free one-day delivery for Prime customers.

We install the new coil, making sure the gasket is in place, reposition the metal bracket, and screw in the screw that secures it to the engine. If we had disconnected the battery, we can reconnect it.
