To replace the front headlight bulb on a Volkswagen Passat CC, open the bonnet to access the components in the engine bay: here you will find the internal protective cap of the headlight unit that must be completely removed to access the bulb underneath.

The bulb can now be disconnected from the corresponding wires; then connect the new replacement part to them, reinserting it back into its socket.

Finally, cover everything with the panel and check its operation.
