How to replace the spark plugs on your Volkswagen Up? In this video, see in detail how to proceed. Pull the engine compartment release lever located to the left of the dashboard and lift the front bonnet, securing it. Remove the engine soundproofing panel, unscrew the retaining bolts of the coils with a suitable socket, and twist the coils to extract them from the cylinder head. Unscrew the spark plugs with a socket wrench (remove them from the cylinder head); take the new spark plugs and insert them into the cylinder head using the socket wrench. Finally, reassemble the plastic cylinder head cover.
