Is the car having starting issues? Let's see how to change the glow plugs on a Golf. Pull the lever to open the engine compartment located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift the front bonnet, securing it. Remove the valve cover panel. Identify the components to be removed.

Take the coil in your hands and twist it until it comes out of the cylinder head. Unscrew the damaged glow plug with a socket wrench.

Take the new glow plug and insert it into the engine head with the socket wrench, reattach the coil. Refit the valve cover panel.
