Is the remote key battery not working anymore? How do you open the door of the VW Passat? It's a simple operation. Take your remote and pull out the metal key. Insert it into the space of the handle: leverage until the piece detaches. Insert the key into the lock and open the car door. To close the lock, take the cap and press down on the handle until you hear the locking click. Replace the remote key battery as soon as possible. Cover the handle lock with the plastic cover.
