Replacing Cabin Air Filter

Model: Volkswagen Passat 3BG, B5 - Years 1996-2005

The pollen filter purifies the air in the cabin, preventing allergies for sensitive individuals. The filter is located in the engine bay under the windscreen. Obtain a pollen filter of the same model identical to the original. To access it, remove the cover by unscrewing the screw located on its head. Lift off the cover. Once the filter cover is removed, take out the filter from its housing by pulling it upwards carefully to avoid dust dispersal. Clean the housing from any dirt. Reinsert the new cartridge into the container, ensuring correct positioning, and close the cover with the screw.
