Installation of Aftermarket Double DIN Car Radio

Model: Volkswagen Jetta MK 5, A5 - Years 2005-2010

The first step is to remove the original car radio. Using plastic trim tools, first detach the grille located just above the central air vents; then unscrew the fastening screws of the underlying support and the vents to remove them; next, unscrew the fastening screws of the frame around the air conditioning controls: at this point, unscrew the 4 screws securing the original stereo and pull it out from its housing, disconnecting the plugs connected to it. Then connect the wiring of the new car radio to the original one following the supplied wiring diagram. Finally, install the support for the new car radio by securing it with the four original screws, connect the plugs, insert the new car radio into its housing, and finally apply the corresponding frame and reassemble the air vents.
