Let's see how to change the brake pads on a Golf Mk6. Lift the Golf vehicle and remove the wheel to access the brake pads. Unscrew the caliper locking pin, then remove the caliper from the wheel hub. Use a screwdriver to detach the pads from the wheel hub caliper, then remove the brake caliper.

Fit the new pads onto the brake caliper: reattach the brake caliper with the support onto the brake disc. Tighten all the pins and refit the wheel.

Refill the brake system. Test the operation of the car's brakes.
