Oil and Oil Filter Change on Volkswagen Tiguan

Model: Volkswagen Tiguan BW, MK 2, AD - Years 2016-2025

With the engine off and the handbrake engaged, lift the bonnet and use the appropriate support rod. Remove the engine cover and unscrew the oil filler cap, then disconnect the oil hose by freeing it from the clips and placing it aside. Using the special insert (code 2175), unscrew the oil filter as shown in the video. Fit a new O-ring onto the new oil filter and screw it in place. After lifting the car, drain the engine oil from the hole beneath the engine by unscrewing the bolt. Fill with the same quantity of new lubricant from the upper fill hole and screw the cap back on.
