Instructions for Removing the Car Radio

Model: Volkswagen Jetta MK 5, A5 - Years 2005-2010

The first operation is to detach the upper grille located at the centre of the dashboard; then unscrew the fixing screws of the underlying support and remove it. Next, unscrew the fixing screws of the central console frame, which also includes the air vents, and remove the frame around the climate control switches. At this point, unscrew the fixing screws of the car radio located at the four corners and pull it forward while disconnecting the relevant plugs, taking care not to damage the locking clips of the plugs.
