Removing the Rear Bumper from the Touareg

Model: Volkswagen Touareg MK 1, 7L - Years 2002-2010

How do you remove the rear bumper from the Touareg? Lift the tailgate and see how it comes off. Undo the screws for the lights and remove both of them, then undo the screws located at the top of the bumper. Remove the side impact strips located next to the wheel arches. Undo the screws at the bottom of the bumper, then remove the screws at the sides of the wheel arches. Once the bumper is free from any screws or bolts, take it with your hands and pull it away from the bodywork (disconnect any wiring harness). Fit the new bumper with the attached parts.
