Is the battery in the New Beetle no longer showing signs of working? Let's see how to disassemble the battery and replace it with a new one. We open the car door and pull up the engine compartment opening lever located at the bottom left of the dashboard and lift up the front bonnet, releasing the locking lever of the same with the fingers, then we put it in safety. Once the engine compartment is open, we will find the battery with its container, unscrew the locking pins of the battery terminals, then, remove it from the engine compartment. We replace the damaged battery with one of the same size and voltage.
