In today's tutorial, you will learn how to remove and replace the coolant thermostat of the Volkswagen Polo 1.2. First, open the bonnet and start by removing the intake duct by unscrewing the clamp screws; then remove the air filter housing as shown in the video. Next, proceed to remove the battery and battery tray; you will find the thermostat underneath. Now, disconnect the electrical connector of the sensor and remove the coolant hose, unscrewing the thermostat screws to take it out and replace it!
