In this video tutorial, you will learn how to dismantle and replace the fuel pump on a seventh-generation Volkswagen Golf, both diesel and petrol. First, open the rear doors and start by unclipping and removing the rear seat; then remove the fuel pump cover by disconnecting the electrical connector of the fuel level sensor and the fuel hoses.

At this point, unscrew the metal ring of the pump to extract it from the tank, replacing it with the new one; then reassemble everything, following the video tutorial to the end!
