Replacing the throttle body is quite simple to perform and requires no special equipment; start by removing the plastic cover on the engine taking into account that in this model it integrates the air filter container, therefore it is necessary, before lifting it, to disconnect the intake duct sleeve, the vacuum tube and the relative sensor; once the cover has been removed, the throttle body is clearly visible and to be able to replace it, simply disconnect the relative socket and unscrew the fixing screws; then proceed backwards to install the new one.

How to reset the on-board computer of the Peugeot 208?

Resetting the Peugeot 208's on-board computer, the system called SMEG, is very simple. We can do this in case the system shows signs of malfunction, freezes, or in any other case where a restart could solve the problem. To reboot, simply hold down the two keys located in the lower left corner of the computer at the same time. After a few seconds, the SMEG system display will switch off, the Peugeot logo will appear and the start-up procedure will start. We wait patiently for the restart to complete as it may take some time.
