Where is the EGR Valve Located on the Volkswagen Golf?

In this video, you can see where the EGR valve is located on the Volkswagen Golf MK7, useful if you need to clean or directly replace it. As shown, the valve is positioned at the rear of the engine, on the driver's side. To access it, first remove the plastic engine cover, then detach both the air filter box and the associated intake manifold. To remove the valve, simply disconnect the additional pipes connected to it and unscrew the respective mounting bolts. Of course, ensure that you always work with the engine cold.
