How to Replace the Reverse Switch on a Volkswagen Golf?

To replace the reverse switch on a Volkswagen Golf, open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay. You will need to loosen the screws that secure the cover at the front of the engine bay and those that secure the air filter housing, moving both components to access their underside. The reverse switch must be removed from its housing by disconnecting its connector and unscrewing it with a spanner. This will allow you to insert the new switch, connecting and securing it properly.
