Replacing the Air Conditioning Condenser and Compressor

To carry out this maintenance, lift the vehicle using a hydraulic lift. Start by removing the front grille, which is secured with two screws at the top and then clips along the edge of the bumper. Next, remove the bumper, headlights, and the bracket connecting the front crossmember to the radiator. At this point, you can complete the removal of the condenser by disconnecting the relevant pipes. Fit the protective grille to the new condenser and install it on the vehicle. Then, proceed to remove the air conditioning compressor by first freeing the pulley from the auxiliary belt, then unscrewing the mounting bolts and pipes. Apply new O-ring seals to the pipes and reverse the process to install the compressor on the vehicle. Finally, use the appropriate equipment to vacuum the system and recharge the gas and oil into the compressor.
