In this guide, we will discover the necessary procedure to perform regular maintenance on the Volkswagen Lavida, replacing the engine oil and oil filter. First, we lift the vehicle and begin to unscrew the oil drain plug located underneath the engine, allowing it to drain into a container for about ten minutes. Then, we unscrew and replace the oil filter cartridge located next to the oil pan, using the appropriate wrench, as shown in the video. Next, we demonstrate how to bleed the transmission oil. Finally, we open the engine hood to pour in the new engine oil and transmission oil!
