Removing Front Bumper for New Headlight Installation

Model: Volkswagen Bora MK 6 - Years 1998-2005
Part: Front bumper

Open the bonnet and use a screwdriver to lever in the upper hole of the grille to unclip it, then remove the other clips. Force the plastic clips and remove the air intake grilles. In the air intake hole, unscrew the retaining screw and the four side screws inside the two wheel arches. At this point, the bumper is free, so gently pull it away from the front of the vehicle, disconnecting the two cables. Now the headlamp assembly is ready for replacement. Unscrew the lower and upper retaining screws and remove it by disconnecting the electrical connector. Place the bulbs in the holder and reconnect the connector to install the new headlights. Refit the bumper and grille.
