How to Remove the Battery from a Volkswagen Transporter T4

Let's see how to remove the battery from the engine bay of a Volkswagen Transporter T4: first, open the engine bay and locate the battery, which is on the right side of the body when viewed from the front. Remove the air filter, which is directly above it (first the box, then the filter). Next, remove the negative terminal (you will need a 13mm spanner), taking care to keep it as far away from the battery as possible. Do the same with the positive terminal once it is removed. After this, you can take the battery out of its housing and replace it with a new one.
