The anti-theft alarm of the Volkswagen Passat can be deactivated by turning on the instrument panel, so that it is possible to access the menu that will be displayed on the onboard computer: you will need to move with the arrows on the right side of the steering wheel, selecting the "Settings" option and then "Convenience". The first option that will be shown will be "ATA confirm" with a check mark: by clicking the OK button on the right side, you will be able to remove the check mark. Then, by closing the car using the remote control, you will notice that the sound confirming the locking and unlocking of the car will be disabled.
