How to Disable the Alarm on the Volkswagen Passat?

To disable the alarm on the Volkswagen Passat, turn on the instrument cluster to access the menu that will appear on the onboard computer: scroll using the arrows on the right side of the steering wheel, selecting "Settings" and then "Convenience". The first option that appears will be "ATA confirm" with a tick: by pressing the OK button on the right side, you can remove the tick. Then, when you lock the car with the remote, you will notice that the sound confirming the locking and unlocking of the car will be disabled.
