The following steps will show you how to reset the service light for the routine maintenance oil change on a Volvo XC40. First, get inside the vehicle and press and hold the down arrow button located on the left side of the steering wheel; then turn on the ignition and the engine by pressing the button, as shown in the video.

At this point, wait for the service light on the instrument cluster to stop flashing, and finally check the engine oil level from the central onboard computer.
