How to Remove the Driver's Airbag on a Volvo C30

How do you remove the driver's airbag on a Volvo C30? Follow these steps. Before removing the steering wheel airbag, disconnect the battery terminals. Insert a screwdriver into the slots at the back of the steering wheel and rotate (the hooks inside the wheel) until you release the clips holding the airbag. Once the airbag is released, disconnect its power connectors and remove it from the steering wheel. For reinstallation of the airbag: connect the power connector, then press the airbag onto the steering wheel until the clips click into place.
