Removing the EGR Valve from the Volvo C30 - S40 - V50 1.6D

In this guide, you will find instructions to remove and replace the EGR valve of the Volvo C30 1.6D, as well as the S40 and V50. First, open the bonnet of your car and locate the EGR valve, situated at the back of the engine compartment; then disconnect the pipe from the valve by unscrewing the clamp screw. Next, unscrew the fixing screws of the EGR valve using an 8 mm socket; disconnect the electrical connector to remove the valve. Now, proceed with cleaning or replacement!
