In this guide we will see the instructions that will allow us to disassemble and replace the Egr valve of the Volvo C30 1.6D, but also of the S40 and V50. First of all we open the bonnet of our car and start by finding our Egr valve, located behind the engine compartment; after which we go to disconnect the tube from our valve, by unscrewing the screw of the clamp. At this point, unscrew the fixing screws of the Egr valve, using an 8 mm socket wrench; we disconnect the electrical connector to remove the valve. We just have to clean or proceed with the replacement!

How to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo

Let's see in this short and simple guide the instructions that will allow us to open the bonnet of the Volkswagen Polo. First of all we open the front door, on the driver's side, and start pulling the opening lever of the engine hood, in order to open the lock; then let's move to the front of the vehicle and unhook the tab that we find on the central part, above the manufacturer's emblem, as shown in the video. At this point we block the bonnet with the lateral rod; then we accompany the bonnet down to close it again!
