Resetting the maintenance service light of the Volvo XC40

Model: Volvo Xc40 MK 1 - Years 2017-2026

Today's instructions will allow us to reset the maintenance service light for the engine oil change of the Volvo XC40. First, we get into the car and start by pressing and holding the lower button on the left side of the steering wheel, while simultaneously pressing the brake pedal; then we turn on the instrument panel, waiting for the service light to stop flashing followed by an audible signal, as shown in the video. At this point, we release everything and turn off the instrument panel, thus resetting the service reminder!
