How to Remove the Dashboard Covering the Steering Column

This video explains how to remove the panel covering the steering column of a Volvo S40. First, manually release the side panel at the air intake located on the panel itself. Move the air intake pipe inward into the cabin. To remove the main panel, you will need to remove three screws: one is located at the top of the panel while the other two are positioned at the bottom, near the pedal area. Additional screws will need to be unscrewed after removing the panel, but the important thing is to remember to disconnect the electrical wiring located under the panel and disconnect the sensors located to the right of the steering wheel.
