Today, we will explain how to unlock the door of the Volvo XC40 when the remote battery is dead. Press the buttons on the side of the remote to remove the cover and access the compartment containing the emergency key. Maneuver the door handle and insert the emergency key into the lock located behind the handle. Open the door, and after getting inside the vehicle, insert the metal key into the remote and place the remote in the center console. The key will send a signal to the vehicle, indicating that the key is inside, allowing you to start the engine.
